Fisherman’s Wharf was born out of my love for the coast. I grew up in Michigan, fairly close to the shore of lake Michigan. All year round I’d visit the lakeshore and enjoy the beautiful waves cresting, boats sailing and lighthouses beckoning to passing ships. For this collection I wanted to convey that cool feeling of late summer when things aren’t balmy but they are slightly cool and breezy. Nearly 20 years ago I spent a summer on the beautiful island of Nantucket in Massachusetts. I fell in complete love with the beautiful beaches, weathered homes and rich history.
